CBD is an effective skincare ingredient because it’s simply a powerful antioxidant, plus it has anti-inflammatory benefits. CBD is still ongoing research and we don’t exactly know how far does it help us. But, here’s how CBD can help us:
– It regulates oil production. We all know that sebum contributes to the formation of acne. According to a study, CBD may have an anti-inflammatory effect on sebocytes, the skin cells that produce sebum.
– It helps reduce inflammation. CBD is anti-inflammatory. It may help reduce swelling, pain, and redness from existing breakouts, or irritation that can cause eczema, and psoriasis.
– It helps hydrate the skin. According to a study, it can also help dry and dehydrated skin.
